Care Executive – Maternity Cover (14 Months) London | Circa £40,000 + great benefits Full-time | 3 days onsite (4 during training) A leading military charity is looking for a compassionate Respite & Care Executive to support veterans and families through key moments of need. You’ll manage your own caseload, assess applications for care and respite support, and help people in need. What you’ll do * Manage caseloads, assess suitabilty and needs & process applications * Carry out financial reviews & review / present cases internally * Work with carers, nursing homes, veterans & support services by phone & email * Maintain clear records & follow internal processes What you’ll bring * Understanding of social care or similar environment * Clear, confident communicator — especially by phone * Able to assess, review and make informed decisions * Empathetic, organised & IT-skilled (paperless environment This role would suit you if you are: * ✔ Experienced in or familiar with social care, support services or a similar setting ✔ Able to understand care-related terminology ✔ Confident assessing needs, reviewing documentation and making objective decisions ✔ Empathetic, patient, and driven by helping others ✔ Comfortable managing sensitive conversations by phone and building trust quickly ✔ IT-literate and able to work confidently within a paperless workflow ✔ Preferred is some of care legislation including the Mental Capacity Act but not essential A Standard DBS check and the right to work in the UK are required.
